Wash your blanket in very cold water (never hot)
Delicate cycle is ideal
Fabric softener is good-recommended
You can put it in the dryer on cold air (never hot)
NEVER, EVER IRON THIS FABRIC
Dry cleaning – you’re on your own there. It’s 100% synthetic so I wouldn’t – the wash machine has been fine for us for years.
- Eventually the design of the nap (swirl or stripe) will disappear.
- As long as you don’t apply heat to it, it should remain soft for several (20+) washes
